Are you ready for outdoor salsa dance classes?

Summer 2020 is here, parks are open and we are ready to be part of your dance journey!


Starting this saturday July 11th 2020, all thursdays at 6:00 p.m. and saturdays at 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. we will be meeting at Jarvis park: Jarvis St & Carlton St in Toronto - Ontario to learn and enjoy Colombian Salsa Style (Salsa Caleña).


About your outdoor salsa class

We will start on time, so please arrive 5min before to identify the spot of our class.

Each class will be composed by maximum 10 students practicing proper social distancing (2m apart) during shines session classes. When the class has achieve the first 5 basic steps in shine sessions, partner work will take place. Therefore, all studentes must wear their own masks and keep satinazing their hands.

There is no experience needed to join, you just need to be positive, smile and enjoy our sessions


About your clothing

It is important for you to be confortable while dancing, therefore, we suggest you to wear sport clothing and running shoes. Due to the sunny days and warm weather its recommended to put on sunscreen, a hat and/or sunglasses depending on the day weather changes.


Outcomes of your class

  • Understand the rhythm: Listening and counting with slow and medium speed.

  • Identify your body parts involved in dancing Salsa Caleña.

  • Individual practice sessions (no partner work).

  • Learn how to move your legs, hips, arms and shoulders with the music speed.

  • Improve your resistance and body posture.

  • Learn Basic Steps (Shine sessions) + style for each of them.

  • Learn Spanish while you dance.

  • Access to music playlists.

  • Have fun, get in shape and get involve in the Colombian Culture!
